  STRATA is a physical only release on limited edition lathe cut 10” record and recycled cassette tape. It has two tracks: CARBON and ALUMINA made with the Ciat-Lonbarde Fyrall and Fourses respectively. Records were cut in real time on black and clear polycarbonate by the amazing Tipp Nasty of Denver, Colorado and the sleeves and covers were hand made by me with an assortment of reused and recycled materials and include images from previous stamped art works by myself. Each cover and sleeve uses unique imagery and no two record sleeves and covers are the same but the layout and format is consistent across the edition.
  A lathe cut record does not have the fidelity of a pressed record and this nature is a integral part of the STRATA concepts of time and layering.
  These records were made in an edition of 14 of which numbers 1-5 were made available for sale. Buyers will receive a randomly chosen number from those still available.

Each cover and sleeve uses unique imagery and no two records are the same but the layout and format is consistent across the edition.
  The cassette edition was made in an effort to have more copies available but is interesting in that it is a further layering of the sound as it is a recording of one of the first lathe cut copies. Each side is the same and contains recordings of both tracks. All the materials used in the cassette edition are reused/recycled including the tapes themselves.
